OVERVIEW OF PSYCHOLOGICAL, SOCIOLOGICAL AND PSYCHOTHERAPEUTIC THEORIES ON THE CAUSES OF ASOCIAL BEHAVIOR IN JUVENILES AND WHY THOSE CAUSES PRODUCE SUCH BEHAVIOR.
Abstract
THE PROBLEMS INVOLVED IN DEFINING SUCH TERMS AS JUVENILE DELINQUENCY, DEGENERACY, CRIME, ASOCIALITY, ETC., ARE DISCUSSED. THE AUTHOR PROVIDES A BRIEF DISCUSSION OF THE DIRECTION HE CLAIMS SHOULD BE TAKEN BY THEORETICAL STUDY. THIS, IN LINE WITH HIS MARXIST LEANINGS, WOULD CONSIST OF THE STUDY OF THE LOWEST LEVEL OF THE LOWER CLASS AS THE PRIMARY CAUSE OF JUVENILE ASOCIALITY AND OF WAYS TO PUT AND END TO ITS FUNCTIONING IN THAT CAPACITY. --IN GERMAN
