Abstract
The information presented was obtained from the administrative offices of the courts. Since the last issue of the "Survey of Judicial Salaries," (January 1993), 25 States have reported changes in salaries of judges and/or State court administrators. According to the latest information, salaries of associate justices of the highest courts range from $62,452 to $121,207, with a mean (average) salary of $92,005 and a median salary of $92,383. Salaries of judges of intermediate appellate courts range from $71,250 to $113,632, with a mean (average) salary of $90,582 and a median of $89,451. Salaries of judges of general jurisdiction trial courts range from $61,178 to $100,000, with a mean (average) salary of $81,939 and a median of $83,064. Salaries of State court administrators range from $43,139 to $113,632, with a mean (average) salary of $79,240 and a median of $77, 580. The report shows future salaries for States that will change judicial pay scales after July 1, 1993. 2 tables
