Abstract
THE DISPROPORTIONATE AMOUNT OF MONEY SPENT FOR CUSTODIAL CARE LEAVES INSUFFICIENT FUNDS FOR INDIVIDUAL REHABILITATION. THE AUTHOR URGES THAT COURT, POLICE AND CORRECTION OFFICIALS COOPERATE TO PROVIDE ADEQUATE SERVICES FOR BOTH SOCIETY AND THE OFFENDER.
