DESCRIPTION OF A SEQUENCE OF PERSONALITY INTEGRATIONS AND CORRESPONDING TREATMENT STRATEGIES.
Abstract
ACCORDING TO THE I-LEVEL THEORY, SEVEN SUCCESSIVE STAGES OF INTERPERSONAL MATURITY CHARACTERIZE PSYCHOLOGICAL DEVELOPMENT. SINCE LEVELS ONE AND FIVE ARE INFREQUENT FOR A DELINQUENT POPULATION, THE ATTENTION OF THIS PAPER IS ON LEVELS TWO THROUGH FOUR. DELINQUENT SUB-TYPE CHARACTERISTICS, INCLUDING DELINQUENT PERCEPTION AND RESPONSES ARE DESCRIBED AND TREATMENT PLANS ARE SET FORTH. THE USE OF THE I-LEVEL DIAGNOSTIC INTERVIEW IS DISCUSSED AND INTERVIEW QUESTIONS AND RATING SHEETS ARE INCLUDED.
