THE NARRATIVE OUTLINES THE PRESENT STRUCTURE OF CANADA'S CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEM AND EXPLAINS HOW THIS SYSTEMS APPROACH TO INFORMATION GATHERING AND ANALYSIS AND QUANTITATIVE PLANNING WAS DEVELOPED THROUGH COORDINATION AND INTERACTION OF THE VARIOUS AGENCIES AND GOVERNMENTAL LEVELS INVOLVED.
