Abstract
Violent crimes decreased 9 percent in Idaho. However, murder increased by 48 percent compared to the previous year, rising from 29 to 43. Property crimes decreased 4 percent. The report presents uniform crime data (Index crimes) for 1981, including murder, forcible rape, robbery, aggravated assault, and arson. Data on burglary, larceny, motor vehicle theft, and vandalism are given, along with statistics on arrests, law enforcement officers assaulted, law enforcement employee data, and Part I offenses by county and by agency. Tables and graphs compose most of the report.
