This publication provides information on the definition of human trafficking, identifying victims of human trafficking, questions you can ask to determine if someone is a human trafficking victim, and what to do if you suspect that someone is a victim of human trafficking, and where human trafficking occurs. Also provided is contact information for the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services for information about how human trafficking victims are confirmed for services in New York State, and contact information for the New York State Crime Victims Board to learn about crime victims' compensation for human trafficking victims in New York.
