This volume contains highlights of the 1998 report by the Attorney General's Advisory Committee of United States Attorneys.
Abstract
The report notes that the United States has the lowest crime rate in 30 years; overall gun violence by juveniles is decreasing; successful juvenile crime prevention programs are expanding across the Nation and are effective crime deterrents; and United States Attorneys are forging new partnerships with community leaders, State and local criminal justice agencies, and research institutes to develop successful strategic approaches on community safety.
