Abstract
THE LIST IS DIVIDED INTO THREE MAJOR SECTIONS: PROGRAMMED INSTRUCTION: THEORY AND PRINCIPLES, PROGRAMMING USE OF EVALUATING, PAST-PRESENT-FUTURE; CONTINGENCY MANAGEMENT AND OTHER MOTIVATIONAL METHODS; AND SOURCES OF PROGRAMMED MATERIALS. REFERENCES HAVE BEEN SELECTED TO ASSIST READERS IN IDENTIFYING BEHAVIORAL OBJECTIVES, DEFINING PROGRAMMED INSTRUCTION, AND INDIVIDUALIZED INSTRUCTION, AND UNDERSTANDING THE TEACHER OR LEARNING MANAGER'S ROLE IN USING PROGRAMMED INSTRUCTION FOR INDIVIDUALIZED INSTRUCTION.
