A total of 598 abstracts and citations encompass worldwide periodical literature on terrorism from 1965 to 1985.
Abstract
The annotations, drawn from ABC-CLIO's history database, are arranged alphabetically by author under the following geographic areas: Europe, the Middle East, Asia, the Pacific region, Latin American, the West Indies, North America, and Africa. The publications address some aspect of terrorism as traditionally defined (the activities of state or nonstate perpetrators who use violence in an effort to attain policical objectives). A chronology traces terrorist events reported in the press from 1975 through 1985. List of abbreviations, author index, user's guide to the indexes, and subject index.
