Abstract
An introduction presents a glossary of common terms such as addiction, drug trafficking, prevention, treatment, and tolerant. The next four sections present findings of four student groups who refer to themselves as Prevention Posses. Each group researched a category of drugs and developed activities for readers. An overview asks questions about the drugs most abused by youth, street names for marijuana, the effects of cocaine, the reasons heroin is dangerous, and actions youth can take immediately to educate other people in their communities about the facts on drugs. Individual drugs and drug categories are discussed in terms of their street names, appearance, production, and physical and mental effects. The final section presents the same questions listed at the beginning. Illustrations and addresses from which to obtain more information
