Abstract
Core modules cover an introduction to and overview of victimization, crisis theory and the impact of victimization, crisis intervention with victims, victim services and related legislation, prosecutorial procedure and victim assistance, crime scene preservation, stress management, and forensic issues. Elective modules cover victim assistance services and medical issues in victim assistance. Each worksheet outlines presentation methods, needed resource materials, and time requirements. Pretraining and posttraining examinations for participants and answer keys also are provided.
