This application kit provides appropriate State agencies with the instructions and the forms necessary to apply for formula grants under the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act of 1974 as amended.
Abstract
The kit contains instructions applicable to the 1991 Formula Grant Application, the 1991 Three-Year Comprehensive Plan, the 1992 and 1993 Formula Grant Applications, and instructions for annual Three-Year Plan Amendments. For the Formula Grant Application and the Three-Year Comprehensive Plan, the kit provides background information and requirements that cover application for assistance (SF-424), budget summary, certified assurance, State advisory group composition, technical assistance needs, the staff of the Formula Grant Program, and the Three-Year Plan. Background information and requirements are also provided for the Formula Grant Application and the Three-Year Plan Amendments. Appended forms include the application for Federal assistance, budget summary, standard program areas, certified assurances, State advisory group membership, Section 402(b)(2) of the Justice System Improvement Act, Three-Year Plan components, the calculation of Indian pass-through funds, the disclosure of lobbying activities, the drug-free workplace, and debarment and suspension certification.
