Annotation
Situational views of family violence and experimentally based theories of interpersonal aggression have developed almost independently. The usefulness of integrating these two historically disjoined areas of investigation is examined.
Abstract
Such theoretical integration would provide a basis for (1) a more systematic theory-testing approach to family violence and (2) a more external-validity approach to experimental investigation of interpersonal aggression. (Publisher abstract)
