These case law summaries update the status of family and juvenile law.
Abstract
Most of the summaries are excerpted from the California Family Law First Alert and the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges' Juvenile and Family Law Digest. The laws cover a wide range of topics including adoption, custody, divorce, abuse, surrogate motherhood, the disposition of frozen embryos, and parental rights. The first section consists of one-sentence briefs on each 1992 court decision related to juvenile and family law. More detailed excerpts on selected issues and decisions follow.
