Abstract
THIRTEEN CHAPTERS OF THIS BOOK ARE DEDICATED TO THE MAJOR RULES OF EVIDENCE, THEIR EXCEPTIONS, AND RELATED EVIDENTIARY MATERIAL ON ADMISSABILITY AND WEIGHT, BURDEN OF PROOF, SUBSTITUTES FOR EVIDENCE, AND ELECTRONICALLY COLLECTED EVIDENCE. A DISCUSSION OF SEARCH AND SEIZURE PROCEDURES COVERS OBTAINING AND EXECUTING A WARRANT AND SEARCH OF PERSONS, VEHICLES, AND PREMISES, WITH AND WITHOUT A WARRANT. THE CHAPTER ON ARREST DEALS WITH DEFINING AN ARREST, METHODS OF MAKING THE ARREST, PURSUIT, AUTHORITY TO DETAIN, AND THE USE OF FORCE IN MAKING AN ARREST.
