Abstract
IT USES A HYPOTHETICAL CASE OF AN AUTOMOBILE ACCIDENT AS THE BASIS FOR DESCRIBING THE VARIOUS ELEMENTS OF THE LEGAL SYSTEM. THUS, ALL POSSIBLE ENCOUNTERS WITH THE LEGAL SYSTEM CONCERNING THIS CASE ARE ILLUSTRATED THROUGH EXAMINATION OF THE COMPONENTS OF THE HIGH COURT, CIVIL APPEAL COURTS, EUROPEAN COURT OF JUSTICE, AND CRIMINAL COURTS. ALSO DISCUSSED ARE ARREST, SEARCH, AND POLICE POWERS; CASE LAW; STATUTORY LAW; AND LAW REFORM. EACH CHAPTER IS FOLLOWED BY A BRIEF QUIZ. THE EXAMINATION TECHNIQUE AND SAMPLE TEST PAPERS ARE APPENDED, AND AN INDEX AND TABLE OF CASES ARE PROVIDED.
