STUDY TO DESCRIBE AND INVESTIGATE INTERGROUP DIFFERENCES OF OFFENDER TYPES ON THE BASIS OF THE MINNESOTA MULTIPHASIC PERSONALITY INVENTORY (MMPI) AS DEVELOPED BY MEYER AND MEGARGEE IN 1972.
Abstract
HYPOTHESES WERE GENERATED REGARDING FIVE GROUPS AND THE THE DATA WERE COLLECTED AND ANALYZED TO CONFIRM THESE DESCRIPTIONS. DATA SOURCES INCLUDED THE INDIVIDUAL INTERVIEW SCHEDULE, THE BUREAU OF PRISON FORMS, AND THE ITKIN ATTITUDE-TOWARD-PARENTS SCALES. THE SUBJECTS WERE 100 INMATES FROM THE FEDERAL CORRECTIONAL INSTITUTION AT TALLAHASSEE, FLORIDA. (AUTHOR ABSTRACT MODIFIED)
