THIS DOCTORAL STUDY ATTEMPTS TO INVESTIGATE THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN COMMUNICATION AND SPECIFIC STYLES OF PARENTAL DISCIPLINE ON DELINQUENT BEHAVIOR.
Abstract
THIS STUDY FOCUSES ON THE ANALYSIS OF THE QUALITY OF EXPECTED PARENTAL COMMUNICATION THROUGH THE USE OF A QUESTIONNAIRE DEVELOPED TO MEASURE DEFENSIVE, SUPPORTIVE, AND CONFUSING COMMUNICATION AS PERCEIVED BY THE ADOLESCENT. THIS STUDY ALSO ATTEMPTS TO ANALYZE THE IMPACT OF COMMUNICATION AND DISCIPLINE ON CHARACTER TRAITS AND RELATE THESE CHARACTER TRAITS, IN TURN, TO DELINQUENCY AND NONDELINQUENCY....MSP
