Individual chapters examine the legal issues related to drug abuse among youth, the application of the principle of the free movement of goods in the European Common Market to the trade in alcohol and other drugs, and the combined and separate approaches to alcohol and other drug problems. Further papers examine unresolved legal issues relating to punishing criminal offenders, the forfeiture of proceeds of drug-related crimes in the British Commonwealth, drug trafficking as organized crime, and international initiatives regarding asset forfeiture. The Draft Conventions developed by the United Nations are also discussed. Index and appended United Nations report and draft legal guidelines on electronic funds transfers.
