Abstract
ALCOHOL SAFETY ACTION PROJECTS UNDERTAKEN BY STATES AND CITIES THROUGHOUT THE UNITED STATES ARE LISTED ALONG WITH GENERAL SURVEYS ON THE RELATIONSHP BETWEEN ALCOHOL AND HIGHWAY ACCIDENTS. OTHER CITATIONS COVER THE EFFECTS OF ALCOHOL ON DECISIONMAKING BEHAVIOR, VISUAL PERCEPTION, AND DRIVING SKILLS. ALSO INCLUDED ARE REPORTS ON TESTS TO DETERMINE ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION, REHABILITATION PROGRAMS FOR PERSONS CONVICTED OF DRUNKEN DRIVING, AND PREVENTION MEASURES.
