Prepared as part of Project MAPS, designed to provide Ohio with statewide master plans for constructing and expanding juvenile detention and rehabilitation facilities, this 1985 directory outlines the characteristics of each county's services to delinquent and problem juveniles.
Abstract
The services are presented under each of Ohio's 88 counties. The standard format for each program includes the agency name, address, and telephone number; services offered; and program categories. An introduction to the directory outlines Ohio's policies regarding the detention and confinement of juveniles and describes the circumstances throughout the State which are prompting counties to develop juvenile services as alternatives to costly institutionalization.
