Directory information was obtained from February to June of 1986. Information on the prosecutor-based victim assistance programs includes the prosecutor's name; the name and address of the judicial district; district population; and the name, address, and phone number of the program contact person. Information on the victim compensation programs covers each program's title, address, telephone number, and contact person. The directory is intended as a resource for prosecutors and criminal justice agencies nationwide.
