In 1983 the writer began working with various denominations and mission organizations in an effort to develop a 'terrorism avoidance workshop.'
Abstract
Prior to accomplishing this task, it was felt that an apperceptional questionnaire and interview would be of assistance. The objective was to ascertain what the fears, apprehensions and concerns of these international residents were. The 'Quarles Index of Concern' was first administered as a pilot survey in 1983. The 'QIOC' is also the name given to the model constructed to conduct research. (Author abstract)
