Abstract
SINCE ITS EMERGENCE AS A FRAME OF REFERENCE FOR CRIMINOLOGICAL RESEARCH, THE LABELING APPROACH HAS BEEN CRITICIZED FOR ITS EMPHASIS ON MICRO-SOCIAL ASPECTS OF CRIMINALIZATION.
