This study guide contains 805 questions that probe the users' knowledge about issues related to criminal investigations.
Abstract
The subject matter for the questions has been distilled from authoritative texts in the field. The information is presented in a concise question-and-answer format that uses multiple-choice and true-false exercises. The guide's purpose is to increase the user's knowledge of criminal-investigation subjects and familiarize the user with as many job-related issues as possible. Although the format for presenting the material is that of a test, it is intended primarily as a learning instrument. Guidelines for the use of the book suggest that the user review and study the questions answered incorrectly so that the correct information is learned. For questions answered correctly, the user is to read the correct answer with the aim of understanding why the answer is correct. The book is intended to be used repeatedly until all of the material is learned.
