THIS PESSIMISTIC OUTLOOK FOR THE FUTURE PREDICTS A FAILURE OF THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEM DUE TO RAPID CHANGE AND THE NON-ANTICIPATORY NATURE OF THE LAW.
Abstract
ONE POSSIBLE SOLUTION WOULD BE TO DEVISE A NEW SOCIO-LEGAL STRUCTURE UNDER WHICH THE LAW WOULD BE REFLECTIVE OF THE SOCIAL ORDER, AND NOT THE OPPOSITE, WHICH ACCOUNTS FOR THE STRAINED RELATIONSHIP OF TODAY.
