              COMPUTER ASSISTED INSTRUCTION TRAINING IN SEARCH AND SEIZURE, RULES OF EVIDENCE, AND EVALUATION OF THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE COMPUTER ASSISTED LEARNING SYSTEM.
          Abstract
              THE PROJECT EXAMINED THE HYPOTHESIS THAT THE LEARNING SYSTEM DESIGNED BY THE PROJECT, CONSISTING OF INDEPENDENT STUDY AND CAI EXERCISES, WOULD BE MORE EFFECTIVE THAN CONVENTIONAL CLASSROOM INSTRUCTION. COMPARISON OF PARTICIPANTS' EXAMINATION PERFORMANCE LEVEL REVEALED THAT THEY SCORED SIGNIFICANTLY BETTER THAN THOSE WHO HAD CONVENTIONAL INSTRUCTION. THE DIFFERENCES IN PERFORMANCE LEVELS WAS FOUND TO BE STATISTICALLY SIGNIFICANT IN EACH CASE AT THE .01 LEVEL OF CONFIDENCE.
