This report presents a statistical analysis of the characteristics of offenders admitted to, incarcerated in, and released from the Colorado Department of Corrections during 1981-82.
Abstract
Statistics on new admissions are given by age, sex, prior criminal experience, sentence type, ethnicity, and other factors. Data on the inmate population include prisoners' ethnicity and age, median length of stay, crimes committed, and sex along with institutional costs per offender. Community transitional population statistics and department population statistics are included as are release statistics by facility.
