Abstract
Individual chapters explain the security problems to be solved and how CCTV fits into an integrated security system and provides an overview of the specific hardware components, including lighting sources, cameras, accessories, transmission, switching systems, monitoring systems, and recording systems. Additional chapters focus on natural and artificial lighting, lenses and optics, video signal transmission, monitors and terminals, printers, switchers and consoles, camera pan and tilt mechanisms, camera housing and accessories, video motion detectors, covert CCTV, cameras for low light levels, and power sources.
