This case study details the dental identification of fragmented Vietnam War remains.
Abstract
The identification was complicated by the absence of any antemortem roentgenograms and by minimal dental records, available only in poor-quality photocopies. A step-by-step analysis of the dental information, along with the unusual discovery of a healing extraction site, made a positive identification possible. 1 table, 6 figures, and 4 references (Author abstract modified)
