The Commission receives and acts on complaints made against California judges. Of the 267 complaints the commission received in 1981, 215 were closed after initial scrutiny.
Abstract
The commission investigated 52 complaints, and 48 judges were invited to respond. The commission recommended to the California Supreme Court that a judge of the San Diego Superior Court be publicly censured and that a judge of the San Diego Municipal Court be suspended from office for conviction of crimes involving moral turpitude.
