This document presents supplementary materials adding recent information about business law, law enforcement, and judicial decisions to the book that presents cases involving business crimes and that is designed for use by law students studying the legal rules and issues involved in business crimes.
Abstract
The supplement also presents six study problems covering the following topics: (1) Federal legislation to prevent piracy of video programming signals from private communications satellites, (2) prosecution for manslaughter of a corporation whose employee was killed by fumes from Freon, (3) sentencing of an attorney accused of Federal income tax evasion, (4) the investigation of possibly improper foreign payments by a corporation, (5) the handling of a pretrial motion, and (6) a case of possible mail and wire fraud.
