Abstract
TYPICAL POLICE CAR IMPROVEMENTS UNDER DEVELOPMENT ARE IN THE AREAS OF SAFETY AND RELIABILITY, VEHICLE ECONOMY, OFFICER EFFECTIVENESS, SECURITY OF CAR AND DATA, (RADIO) CHANNEL CONSERVATION, AND OBSOLESCENCE MINIMIZATION. THE INDIVIDUAL PROJECTS IN THESE AREAS ARE BRIEFLY DESCRIBED.
