For each State, a table lists the names of counties and localities that have a drug court(s) that has been operating over 2 years, has been recently implemented, or is being planned. Codes indicate the type and year of an OJP (Office of Justice Programs, U.S. Department of Justice) grant for each project. The table for each State also lists the total number of drug courts in the State that are operating and that are being planned. Also reported are the number of drug courts that have been suspended and consolidated that were operating or were being planned. The age for juvenile court jurisdiction over an initial offense is indicated as well for each State. Only 6 States do not have a drug court that has been operating over 2 years, and all 50 States, as well as the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam, and 2 Federal Districts (1 implemented but temporarily suspended until new probation officer is assigned) have drug courts that have been implemented. Of 99 tribal drug courts, 52 have been implemented, 45 are being planned, and 2 have operated over 2 years.
