Abstract
BEHAVIOR OBSERVATION IS THE ACT OF RECOGNIZING AND NOTING A FACT OR OCCURRENCE GENERALLY WITHOUT THE BENEFIT OF MEASUREMENT INSTRUMENTS. IT INVOLVES A JUDGMENT ON THE PART OF THE OBSERVER WHICH IS THE PRODUCT OF HIS PRESENCE OR RELATIONSHIP TO THE OBSERVED, AWARENESS INVOLVING A SENSITIVITY TO MANY CONTRIBUTING CIRCUMSTANCES, ATTENTION TO MULTIPLE DYNAMICS, AND PERCEPTION WHICH IS PERSONAL AND OPEN TO ERROR.
