This document contains a summary of data on juvenile arrests in Wisconsin for a 10-year period beginning with 1983.
Abstract
There have been an average of 93,980 juvenile arrests each year in Wisconsin. The number of arrests, however, has increased each year since 1988. The juvenile arrest rate has increased since 1987. The statistics differentiate between index crimes and other crimes. Ten-year trends in juvenile arrest data are illustrated in table format for the entire State and for Milwaukee County and the trend from 1988 to 1992 is provided for seven other counties. 11 graphs, 3 tables
