Abstract
Crisis is opportunity leading to motivation, self knowledge, learning, and choice, all of which point in the direction of success is the message of this instructional workbook. It was developed to help a young person learn about her or himself, their life, and to make a plan for the future. The curriculum contained in this workbook has 12 sections and a conclusion. Each section builds upon the overall goal of this workbook, to challenge the user to build a map for the future that fits his or her life. Titles of focus areas are: Changes; Identity; Responsibility; How Alcohol Got You Here; Relationships; Your Vision; Reaching; Spirituality; Justice; Your Gifts; Having Fun; Staying Focused; and concludes with "Your Plan for Success." Within each section there are three parts: questions to ask yourself, activities, and ideas for your plan for success. Each workbook user participates by writing essay-style his or her responses to the varied questions contained within each section.
