Abstract
The safety problems resulting from overwork, low pay, and hectic schedules required of the operators of carnival rides are outlined, as are the problems that can cause health hazards in much of the food sold at carnivals. An extensive glossary explains in detail the slang used by carnival operators. Over 80 games are explained in detail, with emphasis on how they can be rigged and on the games that give the player a fair chance to win. Photographs and drawings are included.
