A total of 802 children, 729 boys and 73 girls, were admitted to Wisconsin's juvenile correctional institutions in calendar year 1982, compared with 806 (741 boys, 65 girls) in 1981.
Abstract
Seven counties accounted for over half of all the admissions, including Milwaukee which accounted for 42.8 percent of all admissions. Data tables give information on type of admission for juvenile males and females, institution and type of admission, new admissions based on specific offender characteristics, and other related factors. About 25 tables are included.
