Admissions to Wisconsin State juvenile institutions in 1981 totaled 806, including 741 males and 65 females.
Abstract
Slightly over one-half of the juveniles admitted in 1981 came from the seven counties which make up the Milwaukee and Southeastern regions. The median age reported for all boys admitted in 1981 was 16.4 years, while the median age for girls was 16.1 years. Tables present detailed data on the 806 admissions, including such information as type of admission, educational level of juveniles admitted and other demographic factors, and prior official probation experience.
