Abstract
The bulletins in the Office for Victims of Crime's (OVC's) Legal Series are intended to an informational resource for victims, victim advocates, victim service providers, criminal justice professionals, and policymakers in States across the Nation. Each Bulleting covers important issues affecting crime victims and highlights situations in which relevant laws are applied. The current bulletins in the series are: State Legislative Approaches to Funding for Victims' Services, #9; Privacy of Victims' Counseling Communications, #8; Victim Input Into Plea Agreements, #7; Ordering Restitution to the Crime Victim, #6; Restitution: Making it Work, #5; Enforcement of Protective Orders, #4; The Crime Victim's Right To Be Present, #3; Reporting School Violence, #2; and Strengthening Antistalking Statutes, #1.
