This first edition contains the first 102 correctional facilities from the survey. Questionnaires were completed by the architect for each project, the facility administrator, and a local government official. Facilities are profiled under State of location. Information is under the general categories of costs, security, inmate cells, dimensions, construction type, inmate design capacity, current staff, inmate housing areas, construction process, and architect's reported analyses. Where possible, floor plans are provided. Other information includes the names, addresses, and phone numbers of a contact person, the architect, and the construction manager. Facilities are indexed by State, city, and county; inmate design capacity; construction category; and facility name.
