This report summarizes the International Terrorism Victim Expense Reimbursement Program (ITVERP) activities from October 2021 through the end of September 2022. It discusses the two main areas of ITVERP aid: application processing and claims payment, and public awareness activities aimed at outreach to potential clients. The report concludes by discussing future program needs and recommendations for program improvements. The report is divided into the following sections: Program Highlights, which include ITVERP data management system information, outreach initiative to current victims for ongoing medical and mental health expenses, and increased collaboration with other federal agency partners; Reimbursement Activities, which highlights the activities and successes related to ITVERP’s primary function of processing applications for reimbursement; Program Updates, noting deadline extensions and supplemental claims; Promoting Public Awareness; and Future Program Needs and Improvements.
