This report summarizes the International Terrorism Victim Expense Reimbursement Program (ITVERP) activities from October 2019 through the end of September 2020. It discusses the two main areas of ITVERP aid: application processing and claims payment, and public awareness activities aimed at outreach to potential clients. The report is divided into the following sections: Program Highlights, which include ITVERP data management system information, outreach initiative to current victims for ongoing medical and mental health expenses, and increased collaboration with other federal agency partners; Reimbursement Activities, which highlights the efforts and accomplishments related to ITVERP’s primary function of processing applications for reimbursement; Reimbursements Paid by Expense Categories; Program Updates; Promoting Public Awareness, including outreach to potential claimants as well as to collaborating agencies and organizations; and Future Program Needs and Improvements.
