This report presents the achievements under the grant provided to the Illinois Convicted Offender Backlog Reduction Program.
Abstract
The monies from the grant program assisted the Illinois State Police in addressing the increasing offender DNA sample backlog. This grant allowed staff to work overtime and as of January 31st, 2005, 17,007 offender DNA samples had been analyzed in-house.
