The Florida Data Sharing Consortium Florida Integrated Network for Data Exchange and Retrieval (FINDER) project services 135 law enforcement agencies.
Abstract
The FINDER project demonstrated that affordable and reliable distributed database designs are an acceptable model for rapid deployment and results. By using a service-oriented architecture combined with an application that is easy to use and provides real-time access in a federated environment, interjurisdictional information sharing is relatively easy to implement and operate.
