This brief document provides information about the Detection and Mitigation of Covid-19 in Confinement Facilities (CDMCF) Training and Technical Assistance (TTA) Center, which assists state, local, and territorial health departments and corrections authorities in their Covid-19 response efforts, including how to best utilize federal funding, collaboration between health departments and state and local facilities, and how to implement strategies that are informed by Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines, criminal justice standards and practices, and innovations in the field. The document provides informational sections with details on the following topics: how the CDC has partnered with the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) to provide the necessary aid through the CDMCF TTA Center; who may gain access to TTA, and where to obtain it; and public health and confinement peer-to-peer discussion groups.
