Abstract

The Comprehensive Opioid, Stimulant, and Substance Use Program (COSSUP) website provides a wealth of resources on project opportunities, funding, learning opportunities, and more. The site is organized according to four tabs: Program; Topics; Learn; and Resource Library. The Program tab includes information about the COSSUP Resource Center; site-based grants, featuring grantee projects and support, data and performance reports, and success stories; training and technical assistance; and information for entities interested in funding opportunities, noting current funding opportunities, applicant resources, and past opportunities. Topics include prevention and community intervention; law enforcement and first responders; pretrial, prosecutors, attorneys, and courts; corrections and reentry; recovery support services; harm reduction; treatment; data collection, sharing, and analysis; prescription drug monitoring programs; evaluation and research; rural programming, including a response project to the opioid epidemic; tribal programming, including a drug overdose response project; and education, outreach, and training projects and programs to reduce stigma and increase prescriber education, public awareness campaigns, and more. The Learn tab includes information on the Online Learning Center; peer-to-peer learning opportunities, including the Deflection Mentoring Initiative and the Peer Recovery Support Services Mentoring Initiative; and upcoming learning opportunities such as meetings, conventions, and national forums. The Resource Library is searchable as well as browsable, and includes Champions of Recovery videos, digests, infographic, news reports, online resources, podcasts, publications, success stories, toolkits, trainings, videos, and webinars.
