The 2017 National Crime Victims' Rights Week (NCVRW) Resource Guide contains a wide array of outreach tools and sample materials to help develop and carry out NCVRW awareness campaigns.
Since 1981, National Crime Victims' Rights Week (NCVRW) has challenged the Nation to confront and remove barriers to full justice for all crime victims. Each year, communities across the country revisit the history of the victims' rights movement and recommit themselves to advancing the progress already achieved. The 2017 National Crime Victims' Rights Week (NCVRW) Resource Guide contains a wide array of outreach tools and sample materials to help develop and carry out NCVRW awareness campaigns. Highlights include a history of the crime victims' rights movement, fact sheets on crime and victimization, suggestions for raising awareness in your community, and original artwork to unite this national effort. Explore and adapt these user-friendly resources to plan for this year's NCVRW, April 2-8, 2017. All downloads open as PDFs, unless otherwise noted. The entire Resource Guide is also available in Spanish.
